Freelance QA engineer

Customer info:

Our customer in Belgium is part of an internationally leading technology group in the defence and security, aerospace as well as digital identity and security markets.

Preferred start date: asap

Duration: 6 months

Rate: 550€/day

Your role

As a QA engineer, you will:

• work in manual and automated testing

• Provide interface between engineering and other departments during the effort of transitioning new products from the design phase to the production phase

• Develop manufacturing test processes from concept to Production including determination of test equipment, including board level test

• Create and maintain accurate test documentation

Required Experience

Hard skills:

• At least 3 years of experience in test engineering environment

• The candidate should be fluent in English, French and Dutch is a plus

• Microsoft office (Word, VISIO, Excel)

• Autonomy

• Versatility and flexibility

• Rigorousness, commitment and accountability, ability to take and meet commitments

• Team spirit and communication skills

Soft skills:

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Effective communicator – technical and non-technical.

• Comfortable working in agile, cross-functional teams.

Other mandatory requirements:

• Willingness to work min 3 days onsite.

• You have a valid security clearance

• You have a Belgian or EU nationality
