Senior Java Developer

As part of our expansion plan in the software engineering division, we are looking for a senior java developer!

Your role

In this consultant role, you will combine strategy with execution. You are both a visionary and a doer: from architecture and code reviews to implementation and deployment.

• You introduce new ideas and best practices and use state-of-the-art technology to develop robust and scalable solutions.

• You work with sales to identify opportunities and translate customer challenges into a well-founded technical solution and plan of action.

• You design and implement cloud-native applications with Java, Kotlin, and Spring Boot, and ensure stable and secure integration with other systems.

• You set up modern CI/CD pipelines with Docker and Kubernetes, and ensure high quality through test automation and monitoring.

• You develop front-end components in Angular that connect to backend services and contribute to an optimal user experience.

• You present your solutions to customers and stakeholders, process feedback, and defend well-founded technical choices.

• You work closely with developers, designers, and architects, take responsibility for the final delivery quality, and ensure the optimal balance between customer requirements and resources.

Required Skills & Knowledge:

Java/Kotlin - Spring Boot - Docker - Kubernetes - Angular, among others.

Your profile

• You have a strong passion for building high-quality digital solutions and the ability to convince both customers and colleagues.

• You have an extensive experience in Java/Kotlin, Spring Boot, Docker, Kubernetes, and Angular, among others.

• You have knowledge of modern software architectures (microservices, event-driven, cloud-native).

• Proficiency with CI/CD, version control (Git), test automation, and monitoring tools.

• You have completed a bachelor's or master's degree in Software Engineering or a related field, along with at least 5 years of relevant professional or project experience.

• Experience in a lead or senior role, with proven success in guiding teams and projects.

• You are bilingual in Dutch and French, and fluent in English.
