Job requirements
Your role
As the first Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (F&O) team member, you will play a pivotal role in building our Microsoft Dynamics ERP practice from the ground up. In this role:
You will lead end-to-end Dynamics 365 F&O implementations (Finance, Supply Chain Management, and Commerce), from initial requirements gathering and design through configuration, customization, data migration, testing, and go-live support. You ensure solutions are delivered on time and meet client expectations.
You will work closely with clients to understand their business processes and translate them into effective Dynamics 365 ERP solutions. You'll conduct workshops, build proof-of-concepts, and provide expert advice on best practices for financial workflows, supply chain operations, and integrations.
You will take charge of presales activities, drawing on your expertise to win new projects. This includes crafting proposals, preparing demos and presentations, estimating project scopes, and convincingly showcasing the value of Dynamics 365 F&O and Power Platform capabilities to prospective customers.
You will collaborate and integrate with other technical teams to ensure Dynamics 365 works seamlessly within a client's application landscape. You might design integrations with other systems (CRM, e-commerce platforms, warehouses, etc.) using tools like Power Platform, Azure Logic Apps, Data Entities, or third-party integration tools, ensuring a unified solution for our clients.
You will establish standards and best practices for our new Dynamics ERP team based on the adesso way of working. Using your past experience, you'll help implement methodologies, governance (e.g. ALM processes, use of Azure DevOps, Lifecycle Services), and quality standards to deliver high-quality solutions consistently.
As we grow, you will mentor and lead new team members. Your people skills will enable you to train junior consultants and coordinate their work. You'll foster a positive team environment, provide guidance, and eventually manage the Dynamics F&O team, helping each member develop their skills.
You stay up-to-date on the latest features and updates in the Dynamics 365 and Power Platform ecosystem. You proactively apply this knowledge to keep our offerings innovative, whether it's implementing new Dynamics 365 features, using AI-driven tools (like Copilot for Finance), optimizing financial processes, or improving project delivery methods.

Your profile
You have a strong background in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations, with at least 8 years of hands-on experience implementing ERP solutions. You are intimately familiar with the Finance, Supply Chain Management and/or Commerce modules, and have a solid understanding of underlying data structures and X++ development.
You have led multiple large Dynamics 365 F&O implementations successfully. From planning and design to deployment and user adoption, you have been responsible for delivering complex projects, possibly in a consulting or integrator environment.
You bring experience in presales and customer-facing engagements. You are comfortable running discovery sessions, preparing demos or prototypes, and you can convincingly articulate the business value of proposed solutions. RFPs, demo presentations, and crafting solution proposals are part of your skillset.
You possess excellent people and communication skills. You can manage stakeholders at all levels and build trustful relationships with clients. Internally, you are a natural leader and mentor – capable of onboarding new team members, sharing knowledge, and guiding colleagues to success.
Certification in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (e.g. MB-300, MB-310, MB-330, MB-335, or MB-920) is a plus – if you don't have it, you're possibly working towards it. Equally, any Microsoft Power Platform or Azure certifications will be looked upon favorably.
You are passionate about the Dynamics 365 ERP ecosystem and keep up with the latest innovations. You approach challenges with a positive, proactive attitude. You enjoy taking initiative and thrive in an environment where you can shape the practice and truly make an impact.
You are Dutch and/or French native speaker and fluent in English.
